- BioCeuticals Fe BioActive contains vitamin A, when taken in excess of 3000mcg retinol equivalents, vitamin A can cause birth defects. If you are pregnant, or considering becoming pregnant, do not take BioCeuticals Fe BioActive without consulting your doctor or pharmacist.
