What causes IBS in one person may not be the cause or trigger in another. Identifying, understanding, investigating and treating the cause is are important to overcome Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
Some causes can be: Alcohol, anxiety, Candida, dairy intolerance, hormones, antacids, antibiotics, Dysbiosis, junk food, parasites, stress, low fibre diet, painkillers, caffeine, Leaky gut syndrome and more.
Just like the causes, the signs and symptoms of IBS often vary from person to person. Some people may only experience a few symptoms, where others can suffer anywhere from 10-15 symptoms.
Some common symptoms include: Abdominal pain, constipation, insomnia, bloating, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, alternating bowel motions and more.
